Geotab is looking for a Senior Data Scientist, Product Analytics who will perform data analytics to address tangible business needs and provide meaningful insights. **What You'll Do**
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations that assist businesses in making strategic decisions.
- Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions.
- Write optimized SQL queries to answer complex business questions.
- Identify data quality issues and collaborate with the engineering team to gather new data.
- Proactively identify trends and correlations to suggest new product areas that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide project leadership as a subject matter expert, guiding team members and participating in cross-departmental projects.
- Manage multiple projects across different stakeholders, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Test the performance of data-driven products and recommend improvements for Geotab's product suite.
- Conduct experiments (A/B tests, etc.) to identify the root causes of observed results.

**What You'll Bring to the Role**
- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Graduate or post-graduate Degree is highly valued.
- 5-8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- 5-8 years of experience in writing SQL queries and programming in Python.
- Solid understanding of machine learning and operations research.
- Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques.
- Strong affinity for statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
