**About The Role**
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Data Engineering Advisor to join our dynamic database marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving targeted marketing initiatives, including direct marketing and client communication towards an omnichannel engagement approach.

**Key Responsibilities**

- **Data Modeling and Architecture**: Design and implement data models that support marketing analytics, including customer segmentation and performance tracking. Enhance query performance and data retrieval speeds.

- **Drive Change and Innovation**: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the database marketing team and implement innovative solutions to enhance data engineering practices. Stay updated with trends in data engineering and marketing analytics.

- **Data Pipeline Development**: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality.

- **Data Integration**: Create a unified view of customer interactions across different channels and ensure smooth data flow between marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.

- **Data Quality Assurance**: Implement data quality checks and perform regular audits to maintain data accuracy and reliability.

- **Collaborative Leadership**: Partner with senior developers and data analysts to elevate team capabilities and provide technical guidance to marketing team members.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing, with a focus on marketing data and analytics.
- Proficiency with big data and cloud technologies, particularly with Snowflake, SQL, Oracle, and Control-M.
- Advanced skills in Python and PySpark programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Bilingual (French and English) preferred.
