What is the opportunity?
As a part of the GenAI Platform Engineering team, we are seeking an experienced developer with SRE experience to tackle challenges related to scalability and reliability in the context of GenAI adoption across the company. You will take ownership of performance and scalability challenges with the GenAI Gateway, including enhancing our SLOs and building new capabilities to improve observability.

**What will you do?**
- Design and develop performance enhancements to GenAI completions and embeddings APIs.
- Work with production-grade Python services and address the performance issues that arise.
- Deploy and scale Kubernetes applications.
- Design and code application programs; perform testing for developed applications.
- Ensure the operating efficiency of existing application systems.
- Maintain documentation of systems development and revisions.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have:**
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI completions.
- Expertise in Python troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of locating problem areas in complex systems and proposing innovative solutions.
- Intermediate experience in various environments (Cloud, distributed systems, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).
- Hands-on experience in SRE languages and tools (Ansible, Dynatrace Managed, Terraform).
- Experience with cloud technologies.

**Nice-to-have:**
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure (Bedrock/Sagemaker/Azure Databricks).
- Experience with GenAI projects in the banking domain.
- Knowledge of the banking domain.
