**What You'll Do:**
- Perform firmware development using Embedded C in areas such as modem, GPS, vehicle data, and security.
- Conduct unit tests and perform integration and system-level testing in real and simulated environments.
- Write SQL queries and Python scripts on data sourced from Google BigQuery.
- Conduct thorough testing and code reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Debug firmware issues and improve code quality.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all responsibilities.

**What You'll Bring:**
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems design with real-time operating systems.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and familiarity with RTOS, Linux, and Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
- Knowledge of Rust, modern scripting languages (e.g., bash, Python), and experience in developing and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
- Understanding of electronics to inform firmware development and debugging.
- Familiarity with SQL for big data application in firmware development.
- Ability to read schematics and data sheets for various components.
