**Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A**

**Location:** Head Office, Markham, Ontario (Hybrid Work Model)

**Job Description:**

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Resident Care, the Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A will assist operations in processing and analyzing financial data to drive performance and support our business partners. Responsibilities include:

- Setting up financial data analysis, assisting in the month-end result package, preparing the annual budget, and quarterly forecasts.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures utilized by Financial Analysts.
- Leading special projects focused on process improvement and other ad-hoc requests as assigned.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- **Month End Close:**
- Coordinate with finance team members to prepare the month-end management reporting package.
- Analyze variances to budget, forecast, and prior year results while providing insights.
- Highlight risks and opportunities and report results to senior management and stakeholders.

- **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Assist in developing the annual budget model and ensure consistency of assumptions across business units.
- Prepare the annual budget for the Resident Care business, including revenue and expenses.
- Coordinate the quarterly forecast process.

- **Management Reporting:**
- Develop metrics and insightful reports to drive performance for decision makers across resident care.

- **Special Projects:**
- Lead and collaborate on special projects focusing on process improvements and best practice development.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA Designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in an operational accounting role.
- Experience in financial modeling using Excel/Power BI; knowledge of VBA, SQL, and databases is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational, computer, and analytical abilities.
