Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team to drive business planning and reporting for the Canadian Fulfillment network. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Regular collaboration with executives and various business units across Amazon will allow you to showcase your verbal and written communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with minimal guidance, drawing conclusions and making recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements.
- Manage the development of weekly and monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models, ensuring continuous innovation and effective communication to Financial and Operations partners.
- Coordinate with business leaders and FP&A to prepare a comprehensive business narrative aligned with the financial bridge.
- Create standardized models to calculate the impact of business drivers on labor efficiency.
- Identify and solve complex data integrity issues, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high standards.
- Independently influence and drive outputs while meeting deadlines, setting clear expectations, and establishing roadmaps.
- Engage in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities, leveraging diverse perspectives for organizational value.
- Contribute to work-life harmony by fostering a positive, collaborative environment and influencing new team members effectively.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Experience in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable results.
- Proven experience in solving complex business challenges with accurate and timely financial modeling, analysis, and impactful recommendations.
- Experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting results.
