**Job Posting: Front-End Developer**

**Background:**
The Rural & Northern Locum Programs (RNLP) team manages high-volume, operationally intensive programs connecting rural and remote communities to time-limited physician coverage. This role supports the modernization of RNLP's digital tools to improve user experience, optimize resources, mitigate security risks, and enhance scalability.

**Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and implement front-end code to create effective, responsive user interfaces.
- Conduct system analysis on existing applications and elicit requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate technical specifications into tested, functional applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to refine application requirements.
- Plan, design, and execute user interface walkthrough sessions with stakeholders.
- Identify existing technology and application security risks.
- Develop structured methodologies for application design, development, and implementation.
- Prepare training materials and technical documentation.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with cross-browser compatibility and AODA standards.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the Ontario Health team as part of engagement closure.

**Must-Have Skills:**
- 7+ years in application user interface design, latest design patterns, and troubleshooting.
- 7+ years in coding and delivering complete user interfaces with responsive frameworks.
- 7+ years with system documentation and analyzing existing systems.
- 7+ years conducting design sessions, planning, and walkthroughs.
- 7+ years working with Agile methodologies.
- 7+ years in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.
- Proficiency with Angular, Angular Material, SCSS, JavaScript, HTML, and visual design tools like Figma or Sketch.

**Desired Skills:**
- Experience with complex, large-scale systems.
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility and responsive frameworks.
- Familiarity with social media APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
