**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Lightspeed Retail Team. You will work with a product development team to build software solutions that equip merchants with the tools they need to succeed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver product features and functionality.
- Develop clean, well-designed, and maintainable code and services to extend our product functionality.
- Draft, discuss, and implement technical designs that address business challenges.
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork to define product transformation as Lightspeed evolves its offerings.
- Support and celebrate team achievements.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong experience with front-end technologies (React and Typescript preferred).
- Proficiency in PHP.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with relational (SQL) databases.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to contribute to technical design discussions and make technical decisions.
- Proven sense of ownership for delivered features.
- Experience analyzing production environments and performance metrics.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and aiding their growth.
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Hands-on experience with:
- Continuous integration and deployment of SaaS applications.
- Containerized development using Docker & Kubernetes.
- Real-time messaging systems (SQS, Pub/Sub) for event-driven architecture.
- Instrumentation and metrics.
