**The Challenge:**
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, create, and implement various Java-based solutions that range from mobile applications to database programming.
**Responsibilities:**
- Write code for Proof-of-concepts and prototypes in support of solution architecture activities.
- Provide controls and information on improvements being made.
- Review and contribute to functional and non-functional business requirements, translating them into architectural requirements.
- Lead design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of applications in various software languages.
- Develop technical specifications for COTS software and configure products based on specifications.
- Maintain thorough subject matter expertise of the functionality and solution architecture.
**Requirements:**
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Experience managing the delivery of software projects.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Microservices, Java 11, Spring Framework, basics of SQL, Database (NoSQL preferred), message platforms (like Kafka/JMS/MQ equivalents).
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices and tools.
- Proficient in UNIX, Linux, and Shell scripting.
- Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
- Preferred: Banking experience.
