**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to develop relationships with Tier 1 Strategic accounts. This customer-facing role will drive the customer agenda and provide strategic and operational leadership while building effective relationships and delivering results.
**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:**
- Demonstrate Riverside’s Core Values, mission, and vision.
- Establish respect and confidence with customers.
- Build relationships across multiple levels of the customer organization.
- Develop collaborative partnerships and joint business plans with key customers.
- Drive strategic plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Manage forecasting and provide inputs for demand planning.
- Analyze sales data and respond to market trends and opportunities.
- Create customer-specific presentations to support category growth.
- Ensure effective execution of assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop customer-specific programs.
- Manage trade spend and conduct quarterly business reviews.
- Engage in partner relationship management and track KPIs.
- Attend trade shows and other relevant events.
**Skills & Abilities:**
- Proven success in problem-solving and solution implementation.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and sales-related software.
- Ability to adapt communication styles based on the audience.
- Strong ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
- Sales competencies in negotiations, trade marketing, and business analytics.
**Education & Qualifications:**
- University Degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the organic/health food industry.
- French language skills (intermediate or fluent) are an asset.
