**Job Title:** Senior Learning and Development Specialist (Bilingual - French & English)

**Location:** Toronto or Montreal (Flexible)

**Overview:**
As a bilingual Senior Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist, you will leverage your experience and creativity to design, develop, and facilitate learning content for National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) clients and employees. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between talent and business objectives while embodying NBIN’s values of Partnership, Agility, and Empowerment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply adult learning principles and ADDIE methodology to create high-quality learning content, including classroom training, micro-videos, on-screen automated tutorials, and user guides.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training classes for clients and employees.
- Assess business needs and utilize available tools to deliver learning solutions aligned with NBIN business objectives.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders on multiple projects as a designer and developer of learning resources.
- Stay updated on L&D best practices and employ emerging technologies to create innovative learning solutions.
- Conduct technology platform demonstrations for clients and prospects.
- Seamlessly integrate high-priority ad hoc training requests with your assigned project timelines.
- Foster a culture of learning and development, encouraging NBIN clients and employees to pursue their personal and professional development goals.

**Team Environment:**
You will be part of a small and agile Learning & Development team within the Practice Management & Business Evolution group at NBIN, focused on delivering high-quality training on technology and platforms related to the financial services industry.

**Prerequisites:**
- Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Instructional Design or Adult Learning, or 5+ years of practical experience in creating technology-based/industry learning resources.
- 5+ years of experience facilitating virtual and in-person training.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services/wealth management preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn new complex concepts quickly and transform them into effective learning resources.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams).
- Experience with video editing software (Camtasia preferred); experience with WalkMe and Axonify is a plus.
