**Purpose:**
Lead and manage a dynamic team (5-20 professionals) responsible for administering a complex loan portfolio focused on European markets (UK and Ireland). This senior role oversees the administration of corporate loans and letters of credit across various structures, including syndicated facilities, bilateral arrangements, and agent bank services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and maintain a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service to corporate clients.
- Drive team productivity, establish clear performance metrics, and implement effective staffing strategies.
- Foster an inclusive work environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
- Oversee succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of loan transactions for corporate customers.
- Maintain data integrity and oversee accounting reconciliation processes.
- Manage complex credit facilities where the Bank serves as Agent Bank, participant lender, or direct lender.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with loan documentation and credit terms.
- Implement robust operational controls aligned with the Bank's risk appetite.
- Ensure compliance with Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Requirements, AML/ATF Guidelines, and Business Conduct Standards.
- Oversee timely resolution of critical issues and escalations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives across the department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
- Drive operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategic business initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous management experience, preferably in Banking Operations.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate loan products and credit lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of UK loan markets.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with loan management systems (ACBS or LoanIQ preferred).
**Work Arrangement:**
This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
