**Position:** Senior Manager, Credit Risk Oversight & Analytics, Small Business

**Overview:**

As the Senior Manager, you will report to the Director of Credit Risk Oversight & Analytics and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the development and optimization of credit strategies throughout the lifecycle, including Originations, Account Management, and Collections.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead strategy development and processes for originations, credit limit management, authorization, pricing, re-issue, overlimit, and collections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Collections Ops, and project teams) to implement risk strategies and processes.
- Monitor performance to ensure that strategy decisions deliver optimal profitability while aligning with the Bank’s Credit Risk Appetite.
- Drive continuous improvement in strategy effectiveness with a focus on incremental profitability.
- Identify root causes of issues and make recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and review documentation for risk and technical requirements.
- Manage escalations in technology issues with stakeholders to maintain efficient end-to-end processes.
- Negotiate priorities with internal stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
- Assess and evaluate overall credit strategies and portfolio performance to enhance effectiveness and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements in credit risk customer management strategies.

**Qualifications:**
- A university degree in mathematics, economics, or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of behavior scoring, optimization strategies, policies, and business rules.
- In-depth knowledge of credit bureau information.
- Proficient understanding of retail & Small Business products, processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient programming skills in SAS, Python, SQL, Angoss, etc.
- Excellent relationship management skills across the organization.
- Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
