**What You’ll Do:**
- Design and develop effective dashboards for the Internal Control Unit.
- Interact with the Internal Control Team and data owners to analyze business needs and develop technical specifications.
- Translate complex data into understandable visual insights aligned with business objectives.
- Develop a solution/framework for data consumption using Power BI.
- Support ad-hoc visualization requests utilizing Excel and Microsoft SQL Server data.
- Automate business-as-usual processes using Excel VBA, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
- Design and document guidelines for visualization development.
- Manage new initiatives aligned with the bank’s long-term data strategies.

**What You'll Bring:**
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, including data testing, cleaning, and standardization.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced skills, v-lookups, PivotTables, VBA).
- Knowledge of data management, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficient in creating effective data visualizations for stakeholders and executives.
- Data analysis experience in Hadoop and Cloud platforms considered an asset.
- Understanding of Scotiabank’s culture and financial products/services.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility.
- Strong project management skills are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial institutions.
- PMP, SQL, or similar certification considered a strong asset.
- Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written) considered an asset.

**Work Arrangement:**
Indoor office environment with opportunities for movement. Occasional meetings may occur at other (including international) locations.
