**Position Overview:**
Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Manager of Fund Reporting to join our Investment Resource Group. This position reports to the Director, Investment Resource Group based in Vancouver. The Senior Manager of Fund Reporting will collaborate with a team of finance professionals to support the fund reporting function for approximately 120 pooled and mutual funds.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and distribute fund financial statements (annual and interim).
- Consult with external custodians in the preparation of financial statements for the Funds.
- Calculate and quantify market risks and leverage ratios for disclosure in financial statements.
- Review Financial Statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Work with external custodians to implement necessary changes to note disclosures as per IFRS or US GAAP.
- Manage annual audits of Funds’ financial statements and coordinate with auditors.
- Prepare and file management reports of fund performance (MRFPs).
- Lead tax compliance and income tax risk management.
- Respond to inquiries or audit requests from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
**Qualifications:**
- CPA designation with 10+ years of relevant business experience (investment funds sector preferred).
- University degree in Business or Finance.
- Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, and tax regulations pertinent to investment funds.
- Experience managing staff in a finance operations role.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to identify and solve complex financial and operational issues.
