As a Senior Manager, HNW Estate Strategy, you will lead efforts in client succession, estate planning, and tax optimization, ensuring exceptional service to our ultra-high net worth clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with ultra-high net worth clients and their advisors to identify objectives, define impactful and tailored solutions, and ensure timely progress of files.
- Provide strategic advice relating to insurance structures to complement estate, business succession, and tax planning to achieve business and estate objectives.
- Review and evaluate business, tax, insurance, and risk management strategies to identify issues and proactively advise on potential risks and opportunities.
- Lead successful solution implementation and strategic client review to ensure the solutions reflect the clients’ current and future needs.
- Actively develop solutions skills through transactional work and new idea development using competitive intelligence and proprietary IP to enhance solutions offerings.
- Build sales and networking skills by working closely with Principals and Associate Principals.
- Maintain contact with the client throughout the implementation process and after placement to ensure policy renewals are effective.
- Represent the company, promote our mission and values, and foster teamwork and effective communication within the organization.
- Use client management expertise to ensure the file progresses in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the internal team to anticipate and overcome any roadblocks.
- Mentor and develop the operations team to become more client-facing.
**Qualifications:**
- CPA, MBA, CFA, CLU, TEP, FEA, or JD/LLB designation.
- Expertise in corporate law, estate, and tax planning for private enterprises.
- Proven leadership and integrity.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian insurance, banking, and tax and estate planning.
- Experience as a relationship manager/account manager.
