Our Labour Management team oversees the Labour program for approximately 1000 stores nationwide, ensuring the effective allocation of labour resources.
**About the Role:**
Reporting to the Director of Labour Management, the Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the Enterprise Labour Strategy. This position offers the opportunity to learn about our store operations while driving continuous improvement through collaboration with various stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead a team of Industrial Engineers to develop and enhance engineered labour standards and labour demand models.
- Manage strategic initiatives impacting store labour, including financial modeling and implementation planning.
- Build and maintain labour models and scheduling tools utilizing the Workforce Management System.
- Conduct labour impact assessments and create business cases to support enterprise-level decisions.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel for reporting and analytical tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Analyze opportunities to improve store productivity and labour performance.

**Qualifications:**
- University Degree in Engineering; P.Eng or equivalent license is an asset.
- 3+ years of experience applying industrial engineering principles.
- Proven supervisory/management experience with high-performing teams.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for delivering presentations.
- Strong organizational and strategic execution skills.
- Technical experience with SQL, SAS, PowerBI is an asset.
- Occasional travel to stores may be required.
