**What is the Opportunity?**
Reporting to the Director, Risk & Compliance, the Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance will provide comprehensive risk management, compliance, and regulatory oversight in support of the Cyber Technology Office (CTO). This role requires strong risk management experience and expertise to partner closely with stakeholders within the CTO and across the Enterprise to drive effective risk management while ensuring the department meets its regulatory, audit, risk, and compliance obligations.
**What will you do?**
- Lead and support audit and regulatory engagements.
- Drive results and hold stakeholders accountable to bring tasks to closure, meeting risk and compliance obligations with high-quality deliverables.
- Execute effective internal review and challenge to improve the quality of submissions.
- Provide regulatory, risk, and compliance guidance and advisory services.
- Support teams throughout the lifecycle of their technical controls.
- Provide insights and recommendations for control design and implementation.
- Identify ongoing process improvements, operational gaps, and potential risk remediation steps.
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must Have:**
- University/College graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in GRC, Audit, or a comparable risk management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving and challenging the status quo.
- Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to distill complex technical details into concise, consumable language.
- Passionate about IT Risk Management.
**Nice to Have:**
- One or more related professional designation such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, CISSP.
- Strong background in vulnerability management or application security.
- Experience responding to and/or participating in regulatory requests and exams.
- Institutional knowledge and familiarity with RBC policies and standards.
