**About The Role**
We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to manage relationships with key Canadian retailers at the Head Office level. This role is pivotal in driving Dyson's sales volume, revenue, market share, and gross margin in consumer products. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with accounts, understanding retailer objectives to deliver effective account and business plans. Additionally, you will mentor a team, promoting their professional growth and success at Dyson.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Deliver annual sales volumes and gross margin targets.
- Implement channel strategies to optimize retail opportunities and profitability.
- Manage promotional budgets for optimal return on investment.
- Collaborate on the forecasting process with retailers.
- Analyze sales trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular meetings with key trade contacts to align on account strategy.
- Participate in top-to-top meetings with key customers in Canada.
- Champion key initiatives with customers and within Dyson.
- Create and support Joint Business Plans with top customers.
- Monitor competitor activity and develop strategies to maintain market share.
- Lead and develop a team of account managers.
- Act as a thought leader within the Canadian organization.
**About You**
- 7+ years of experience in national account sales and account management with premium brands.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior team management experience is highly preferred.
- Diverse experience in sales, operations, trade marketing, category management, and financial analysis.
- Proven track record of achieving budget and quota targets.
- Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively.
- Full driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.
