**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a self-driven, bright, and forward-thinking Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) to expand our market presence in Canada. This role is critical in generating revenue and building relationships with strategic partners. The SNAM will be responsible for achieving market penetration and partnership acquisition goals while delivering sales results that align with long-term market leadership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop an annual sales plan in collaboration with leadership, including revenue, trade investments, and profit objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and promotional plans to support the annual sales strategy.
- Execute the annual sales plan focusing on profitable opportunities, revenue management, customer retention, and market penetration.
- Secure new and existing product listings to optimize sales.
- Achieve sales targets per revenue and activity, identifying areas for business growth potential.
- Conduct needs analysis, program and presentation development, and sales renewals with both established and prospective accounts.
- Participate in sales analytics, creating reports and monitoring overall plan effectiveness.
- Oversee sales support to retailers while ensuring a balance between responsiveness and quality/cost of output.
- Effectively manage trade spending and account forecasts in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain.
**Qualifications:**
- Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key/National Account Management or Category Management.
- Prior experience in Consumer Goods/Food & Beverage with retail head office experience.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and identify business development opportunities.
- Extensive knowledge in sales, marketing, and brand development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from customer data.
- Advanced negotiation skills with a focus on finding ‘win-win’ solutions.
- Excellent planning, analytical, and project management skills.
- Passionate about sales and delivering value to customers, with an understanding of ROI measurements.
- Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of financials, including trade spending and profit/loss statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; working knowledge of French is an asset.
- Self-motivated, creative, results-driven, and solution-oriented.
