**THE OPPORTUNITY**
In the 2024 Federal Budget, the Government of Canada announced a landmark $60 million investment to enable Prosper Canada to expand community financial help services across Canada over the next 4.25 years. These funds will enable us to assist over 1 million people with low incomes to build their financial stability and health and to access $2 billion in income benefits they are eligible for but not receiving. We will distribute the majority of these funds to frontline organizations delivering financial empowerment services across the country.
We are seeking an experienced bilingual (French/English) partner relationship officer with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program Delivery and Integration, you will join a dynamic team responsible for supporting the success of all grant recipients under this initiative.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support National Request for Proposals (RFP) launch and roll-out.
- Participate in the selection process for Francophone partner organizations.
- Support delivery of live grant application information sessions in French.
- Respond to inquiries from Francophone applicants and provide timely assistance.
- Manage relationships with 5-10 primarily Francophone partner organizations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Francophone partner organizations.
- Foster trust through clear communication and understanding of partner goals.
- Maintain and manage partner organization deliverables.
- Schedule and facilitate regular partner check-in meetings.
- Champion the needs of Francophone organizations within the partner care team.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure bilingual communication.
**EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES**
- Ideally Francophone, with the ability to communicate effectively in French and English.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial empowerment or related areas.
- Experience managing complex projects with diverse teams and partners.
- Education or training in a related field, such as social work or business.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
**SALARY**
The salary range for this position is $67,000 to $73,000.
