**Job Title:** Senior Salesforce Platform Developer
**Contract:** 15-Month Contract (Full-Time or Independent Contractor)

**Position Overview:**
As a Senior Salesforce Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and scalability. You will have the opportunity to work on significant implementation projects while supporting additional client needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Implementation Activities (70%):**
- Design and implement complex Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Establish and maintain DevOps practices, including testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect on technical designs.
- **Client Success Management Activities (20%):**
- Prepare for and confidently present client solutions during meetings.
- Ensure systems function effectively for clients through continuous testing and support.
- **Additional Responsibilities (10%):**
- Contribute to client training, documentation, and technology best practices.
- Research integration applications to enhance client operations.
- Co-create personal and professional development plans.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of five years in Salesforce implementation and development, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Proficiency in building custom Lightning Web Components and optimizing site performance.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce DX, and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and tools (MuleSoft, Dataloader).
- **Certifications (required):**
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Advanced Administrator Certification
- Platform App Builder Certification
- Experience Cloud Consultant Certification
- Platform Developer I and II Certifications
**Compensation:**
- **Contract:** CAD $85-$105/hour (negotiable based on experience) with expected weekly hours of 20-30.
- **Full-Time:** Starting salary range CAD $93,000 - $100,500, with benefits including a bonus structure, paid vacation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
