**Job Title:** Senior Software Developer - Credit Card Systems

**Job Summary:**
The Credit Card Systems group is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with agile squads, business partners, and Site Reliability Engineering teams in Toronto to design, develop, and deploy capabilities for Credit Card applications utilizing both existing and emerging technology platforms.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and code application programs; perform testing for developed applications.
- Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale mainframe system.
- Ensure the operating efficiency of existing application systems.
- Maintain records for documentation of systems development and revisions.
- Conduct analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

**Qualifications:**
**Must-have:**
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining mainframe-hosted applications, primarily using COBOL 6, IMS, JCL, MQ, and DB2.
- Understanding of job scheduling and change/release management with experience in deploying to production environments via DevOps pipelines.
- Proficiency with software change management tools (ideally Helios, GitHub, Jenkins, and Urban Code Deploy).

**Nice-to-have:**
- Understanding of zOS/Connect environment.
- Experience in Agile software development and working in a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with Jira & Confluence, Dynatrace, API development, ZEKE, and IBM ADFz Product.
