We are currently recruiting for Statisticians at the Senior Statistician 1 or 2 level (depending on your experience) to join our Early Clinical - Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM) portfolio. As part of the Data Science and AI organization, you will use advanced technology in a creative environment, with opportunities to develop and apply new statistical ideas and approaches in your work.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and drive statistical thinking in cross-functional team projects within an international environment.
- Contribute to strategic planning and quantitative decision-making for early clinical development programs.
- Oversee and deliver drug project(s) and/or studies to time, quality, and standards, including collaboration with CROs.
- Participate in applying, adapting, and/or developing statistical methodology.
- Contribute to the development of new procedures and standards to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Depending on your experience, the role may also include:
- Influencing key stakeholders and governance.
- Acting as a technical expert in interactions with external providers and collaborators.
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff in statistics.
- Collaborating with regulatory agencies and attending meetings.

**Essential Qualifications:**
- MSc/PhD in Statistics or Mathematics (with a substantial statistical component) and experience in pharma/healthcare or a relevant area.
- Knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements related to the role.
- Strong leadership capabilities to direct project work.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
- Proficiency in programming with R and/or SAS.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across global and functional boundaries.
- Ability to apply statistical expertise to complex problems and maintain a focus on quality.

**Desirable Qualifications:**
- Experience in program and study design.
- Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas.
- Familiarity with regulatory interactions.
