**Job Summary:**
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Structural Designer. The successful candidate will create innovative designs using various software tools to meet or exceed client requirements while considering manufacturability and production costs.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Review project requirements received from the Client Operations Manager and confirm understanding, communicating with the Project Manager as necessary.
- Determine the feasibility of existing designs versus new designs based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the Creative Group to generate ideas and concepts.
- Utilize ARTIOS CAD and/or SolidWorks software to produce design parameters, collaborating with the Account Manager and clients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the product price range defined by the Account Manager.
- Maintain communication with the production group during the design start-up and output processes.
- Assist sales teams with technical information and customer visits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, packaging materials, regulations, and production methods.
- Communicate any deviations or delays in assigned tasks to relevant personnel.
- Work with Project Managers and Production personnel on specifications, tooling, and quality issues.
- Engage in development projects to attract new customers and create manufacturing specifications.
- Assist in checking incoming Steel Rule Dies and Mylars as needed.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the Design Department through regular organization and clean-up efforts.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

**Academic and Experience Requirements:**
- 2-3 year diploma from a college or technical school.
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.

**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Artios CAD and SolidWorks (SolidWorks preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Cape/Tops and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities

**Working Conditions:**
- Office environment, including photocopiers and printers.
- Minimal travel required between locations.
