**Job Title:** Senior HR Systems Analyst (Workday Payroll)

**Location:** Markham, Ontario

**Job Description:**

As Extendicare continues to enhance our HR technology capabilities, we are seeking a motivated Senior Workday HR Systems Analyst with expertise in Workday Payroll. In this role, you will support over 30,000 employees by managing complex payroll requirements for both unionized and non-unionized staff. You will report to the Workday Systems Team Lead and will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance our payroll technology and improve the employee experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Configure and enhance Workday Payroll modules in alignment with business strategy and collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, and Finance teams to review and enhance employee transactional processes within Workday.
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements to optimize the Workday experience for colleagues.
- Analyze impacts of changes in Workday Payroll on other modules and document findings.
- Prepare technical specifications, test scenarios, and training documentation for system changes.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to obtain approval for system updates.
- Support system upgrades, testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Ensure data integrity through audits and analyses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address business challenges related to payroll.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Workday, specifically in Payroll and Time Tracking modules.
- Experience with payroll for unionized employees and complex collective bargaining agreements.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, research, and troubleshooting skills.
- High level of confidentiality and excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration abilities.
- Workday payroll certification is an asset.
