**Position Summary:**
Achev is seeking a Skills Assessment Coach to join our Skills for Success in Food Services and Accommodation Project. Reporting to the Manager of Career and Newcomer Services, the Skills Assessment Coach will evaluate and assess training materials, customized programs, and micro-credentials tailored to specific roles within the food services and accommodation sectors. This role ensures that training content effectively prepares participants for employment in these industries by integrating assessment strategies with the Learning Management Software, supported by a third-party vendor.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop performance-oriented assessments for e-learning delivery to align with course objectives and enhance learner engagement.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and educators to integrate assessments into course structures.
- Draft, revise, and proofread course narration scripts and reference materials for online delivery.
- Research and compile information to develop visually and auditorily appealing course content.
- Review instructional materials to maintain accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate content accuracy and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends in e-learning and assessment techniques.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation and assessment processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, peers, and stakeholders for smooth delivery of assessments and course materials.
- Provide feedback to improve course content and delivery based on assessment results and learner feedback.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in creating performance-based assessments for e-learning environments.
- Experience in scriptwriting or narration script writing, adaptable to online formats.
- Familiarity with AI tools for optimizing content development and assessments.
- Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough research from various sources to create engaging course content.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards in content quality.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
