**Senior ETL Developer**

**Job Description**
On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, Procom is looking for a Senior ETL Developer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies. This role requires a strong background in Azure Data Factory, Informatica PowerCenter, and Oracle PL/SQL, along with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

**Responsibilities**
- Participate in the review of project, work request, and maintenance release artifacts, including Use Case and System Requirement Specification.
- Deliver detailed system design documents and supporting documentation conforming to Ministry standards.
- Design logical and physical data models using Sybase Power Designer.
- Produce transformation mapping documents.
- Implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), stored procedures, and Informatica PowerCenter for extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Implement solutions using Logic App and Function App.
- Generate structured JSON files using ADF/SQL.
- Develop Azure CI/CD pipelines to automate ADF releases.
- Develop complex Oracle PL/SQL programs to fulfill project requirements.
- Implement complex data conversion and transformation processes.
- Integrate data sets from diverse source systems.
- Monitor and analyze incidents, providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Document information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Optimize performance of ADF pipelines, Azure SQL, Synapse databases, and Informatica workflows.
- Provide effective knowledge transfer to Ministry staff at all stages of the assignment.

**Mandatory Skills**
- Extensive experience in gathering requirements and business process knowledge to design high-quality data transformations.
- Extensive experience in design, development, and implementation with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Experience with Informatica, including Workflow Manager and Repository Manager.
- Experience with developing solutions using Logic App and Function App.
- Experience in maintaining and improving existing ETL processes.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos and Microsoft PowerBI.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with CI/CD (DevOps) pipelines and concepts, including Azure Resource Management and GitHub Repo.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including Azure Boards, Test Plans, Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing SQL Server Stored Procedures and Oracle PL/SQL programs.
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases and tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure SQL DB and Synapse platforms.
