**Job Title:** Software Development Engineer - Aurora Global Database

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver software features and enhancements to major portions of the team’s software.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand and implement the right solutions.
- Design software solutions for new features and improve existing ones.
- Engage in operational tasks to resolve customer issues and optimize team operations.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, coding, reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
**About The Team:**
We understand that new team members need time to acclimate. You will be paired with a launch buddy who will provide guidance and mentorship as you integrate into the team.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on reliability and scalability
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in building large-scale distributed systems and cloud services
