**About The Role**
We are seeking Software Engineering Interns with at least 8 months of experience to join our engineering team. This is an exciting time for us as we focus on three development pillars: travel, fintech, and a superapp membership that integrates various savings and earnings use cases. Our services handle thousands of requests per second and manage substantial data and transaction volumes while maintaining exceptional uptime.

**Responsibilities**
- Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Propel the business forward and understand the impact of your work on business metrics and user experience.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code from day one.
- Be data-driven, perform experiments, and work closely with customers.
- Engage in a mix of frontend and backend work across multiple services and codebases.

**Our Tech Stack**
- Microservices architecture using Python (FastAPI) for backend development.
- React (with TypeScript) on the frontend.
- PostgreSQL and Redis for storage and caching.
- GitLab for version control and CI/CD; infrastructure hosted on AWS (using Kubernetes).
- Monitoring and automated alerting via Datadog.
- Amplitude for client-side metrics and experimentation; Snowflake for data warehousing.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 8 months of web development experience, preferably in a dynamic startup or scaleup environment.
- Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and web servers.
- Quick learner, adaptable to various languages and technologies.
- Proven ability to take ownership and deliver entire features end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical, well-reasoned solutions.
- Interest in both frontend with React and backend with Python.
