**About The Role**
We are looking to hire Software Engineering Interns with at least 8 months of experience to join our engineering team. Our engineering teams are focusing on three development pillars: travel, fintech, and a superapp membership. Our services handle thousands of requests per second, ingest over 1TB of data per day, and process over $1MM per day in sales while maintaining 99.9+% uptime.

**Problems You’ll Address**
- Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
- Propel the business forward with a significant impact on business metrics and user experience.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code in your first week.
- Be data-driven, performing experiments for nearly everything you launch.
- Work on both frontend and backend components across multiple services and codebases.

**Our Tech**
We use a state-of-the-art architecture powered by microservices, primarily in Python (FastAPI). The frontend is built with React (with TypeScript), and we utilize Postgres/Redis for storage and caching. We manage version control and CI/CD using Gitlab, with infrastructure hosted on AWS (using Kubernetes). Merged code reaches production in under 30 minutes. We invest in monitoring and automated alerting using Datadog, Amplitude for client-side metrics, and Snowflake for our data warehouse.

**About You**
- At least 8 months of web development experience, preferably in a dynamic startup or scaleup environment.
- Experience with a modern frontend JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and web servers.
- Quick learner, adaptable to various languages and technologies.
- Ownership and ability to ship features end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical, well-reasoned solutions.
- Interest in both frontend (React) and backend (Python) development.
