**About The Role**
We are looking to hire Software Engineering Interns with at least 8 months of experience to join our engineering team. This is an exciting and technically challenging time for our engineering teams as we focus on three development pillars: travel, fintech, and a superapp membership that unites them along with other savings and earnings use cases.

**Responsibilities**
- Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Propel the business forward and recognize the impact of your work on company metrics and user experience.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code in your first week.
- Be data-driven and customer-focused, performing experiments for nearly everything you launch.
- Work on frontend and backend tasks across multiple services and codebases.

**Our Tech**
We use a state-of-the-art architecture powered by microservices written primarily in Python (FastAPI). The frontend is built with React (using TypeScript), and we utilize Postgres/Redis for storage and caching. We employ Gitlab for version control and CI/CD, with our infrastructure hosted on AWS (using Kubernetes). It takes under 30 minutes for merged code to reach production. We invest heavily in monitoring and automated alerting using Datadog, employ Amplitude for client-side metrics and experimentation, and use Snowflake for our data warehouse.

**About You**
- You have at least 8 months of web development work experience, preferably within a dynamic startup or scaleup environment.
- You are experienced with a modern frontend JS framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and web servers.
- You learn quickly, regardless of the languages and technologies involved.
- You have experience taking ownership and shipping entire features end-to-end.
- You thrive on solving intricate problems with logical, well-reasoned solutions.
- You are interested in both frontend and backend components of features, specifically with React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
