**About The Role**
We are seeking a Security Engineering Intern to join our team. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in securing our product by identifying application-level vulnerabilities in web apps and APIs.
- Deploying and maintaining DevSecOps tools such as Trivy, Bandit, or GitLeaks within our CI/CD pipelines.
- Implementing least-privileged access policies for secrets using Hashicorp Vault.
- Investigating automated security alerts and maintaining audit log pipelines from internal tools and external vendors.
- Utilizing cutting-edge infrastructure tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
**About You**
You possess:
- Experience in identifying and patching vulnerabilities in web applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Fiddler, Wireshark).
- Strong knowledge of network services in the cloud (VPC, IP, TCP, DNS, HTTP).
- Critical thinking abilities to assess the impact and severity of vulnerabilities.
- Skills in Terraform, Helm, Datadog, Postgres, Redis, Gitlab, Python, Bash, and Docker.

**Compensation**
- Competitive internship pay of $300
