**About The Role**
We are seeking Software Engineering Interns with at least 8 months of experience to join our engineering team. This is an exciting time for our team as we focus on development pillars in travel, fintech, and a superapp membership, handling thousands of requests per second, ingesting over 1TB of data daily, and processing over $1MM in sales each day, while maintaining a 99.9+% uptime.

**Problems You’ll Address**
- Ship technically challenging projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Propel the business forward and understand the impact of your work on business metrics and user experience.
- Own features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.
- Write production-ready, well-tested code in your first week.
- Be data-driven and customer-focused, performing experiments for nearly everything you launch.
- Work on both frontend and backend components across multiple services and codebases.

**Our Tech**
Our architecture is powered by microservices primarily written in Python (FastAPI), with a frontend built using React (with TypeScript), and data stored in Postgres/Redis. We utilize Gitlab for version control and CI/CD, and our infrastructure is hosted on AWS (using Kubernetes). Merged code reaches production in under 30 minutes. We also invest in monitoring and automated alerting using Datadog, and utilize Amplitude and Snowflake for analytics.

**About You**
- You have at least 8 months of web development experience, preferably in a startup or scaleup environment.
- You are familiar with modern frontend JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and have worked with web servers.
- You learn quickly, regardless of the languages and technologies used.
- You have experience taking ownership and shipping complete features end-to-end.
- You excel at solving complex problems with logical, reasoned solutions.
- You are interested in frontend (React) and backend (Python) development.
