**Job Title:** Specialist - Early Years and Childcare Services
**Status:** Contract Full Time - 16 Month Contract
**Salary Range:** $76,054 to $95,068 per annum (plus comprehensive benefits)
**Work Mode:** Hybrid
**Location:** 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton ON
**Hours of Work:** 35 hours per week
**Who We Are:**
We are a System Service Manager for the Early Years and Child Care System, delivering quality support to child care providers. This position is crucial for the operations and delivery of the Child Care System Quality and Partnerships program.
**What You Will Do In This Role:**
- Onboard potential and new early years and child care programs with fee subsidy and funding application processes.
- Conduct needs analyses for childcare programs to determine compliance and identify deficiencies.
- Review documentation, analyze information, and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Negotiate resolutions of contentious issues with programs, staff, and families.
- Support child care programs with funding applications and contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
**What The Role Requires:**
- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registered Early Childhood Educator and member in good standing with the College of ECE is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience managing or overseeing a childcare program.
- Advanced understanding of the legislative environment affecting early years and childcare programs.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Ability to write and speak French is an asset.
