This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with the hiring manager according to departmental guidelines.
**Your Role:**
Manage the creation and upkeep of various learning initiatives, including e-learning modules, video, audio, and other technology-driven educational solutions for internal stakeholders. Provide technical support to the Learning and Development team, addressing issues related to eLearning courses, platforms, and technologies. This role can be based in Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Digital Course/Resources Development:**
- Use AI technologies to streamline course material creation and delivery while adhering to departmental practices.
- Manipulate digital course material using various tools.
- Build and integrate interactive elements using authoring tools.
- Ensure the end product is visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible.
- **Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:**
- Upload and manage e-learning courses within the organization’s LMS, Workday Learning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to e-learning platforms.
- **Training and Support:**
- Provide technical support to the Learning & Development team.
- Familiarize staff with new e-learning tools and systems.
- Assist with the development of in-house training materials.
- Support the integration of e-learning initiatives into employee development strategies.
- **Stay Current with Industry Trends:**
- Research best practices in e-learning design and development.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in digital learning and recommend improvements.
**Qualifications:**
- Diploma relevant to the field (minimum college studies) in computer science, multimedia integration, or equivalent.
- Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
- 3-5+ years of experience in e-learning development, graphic design, and multimedia resource creation.
- Proven experience with AI projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to analyze the effectiveness of digital learning materials.
**Preferred Skills (Assets):**
- Experience with LMS (Workday or similar).
- Familiarity with Google sites, Articulate 360, and Adobe products (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and creating content for diverse learners.
