**What You’ll Be Doing:**
As the Senior Analyst, Fund & Distribution Governance, you will report to the Senior Manager and be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and monitoring business risks of CIBC Asset Management Inc. (CAM), including governance and regulatory processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide governance and regulatory controls guidance as a subject matter expert.
- Stay updated on securities legislation and regulations affecting the mutual fund industry.
- Represent CAM on projects, providing guidance on risk and compliance issues.
- Chair monthly meetings of the Short-Term Trading Due Diligence Committee, documenting decisions and updating relevant policies.
- Complete required regulatory reporting including Non-Resident Monitoring, Short Term Trading activities, Large Unit Holder reporting, and more.
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and effectiveness.
**Who You Are:**
- You have 2+ years of experience in mutual funds sales and/or compliance.
- You possess knowledge of Canadian Securities legislation (NI 81-102, NI 81-107, NI 31-103).
- Bilingualism in English & French is an asset.
- You hold current accreditation in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or IFIC.
- You have a degree/diploma in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- You have strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- You are digitally savvy with proficiency in software applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
