**Position Overview:**
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a leader in paediatric healthcare, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with expertise in delivering complex IT projects and programs. This role involves leading various business and technology initiatives and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure effective technology solutions aligned with our strategic goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned projects to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including charters, scope documents, delivery plans, risk and issue logs, budgets, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to support and enable successful project delivery.
- Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring documentation of actions, decisions, risks, and issues.
- Support program management and roadmap activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
**Qualifications:**
- 10 years of experience; minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager in a technical/IT environment.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or a Master’s in Project Management.
- Experience managing project budgets of $1 million or greater.
- Proven track record of leading complex IT initiatives and vendor relationships.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with public sector technology procurements.
- Background in academic research or life sciences settings.
- Knowledge of Agile, Business Analysis, or Organizational Change Management principles.
