**Job Title: Sr. IDD GIS Specialist**

**Opportunity:**
We are currently seeking a Sr. IDD GIS Specialist to join our team in Toronto. This role involves fostering GIS innovation and providing technical expertise in geospatial data management. You will report to the IDD Manager and collaborate with IDD staff and Aecon colleagues to support our projects and clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the Geospatial Manager to design and implement 3D geospatial/BIM solutions for infrastructure and transportation projects.
- Create FME scripts to automate workflows in FME desktop/server.
- Develop 3D maps, databases, and other deliverables for ongoing projects on short notice.
- Mentor and train junior GIS staff, fostering a collaborative culture.
- Conduct advanced spatial analyses and develop spatial analysis models using GIS scripting languages.
- Develop and support web GIS applications within the ArcGIS Enterprise platform.
- Travel within Ontario (primarily the Greater Toronto Area) for site visits (20% of the time).
- Perform other duties as necessary.

**Qualifications:**
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience with Esri GIS applications (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online).
- Strong data organization skills and quality control practices for GIS data.
- Experience in managing, editing, mapping, and analyzing spatial data.
- Advanced knowledge of ESRI tools and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Arcade, JavaScript, FME, SQL, and HTML.
- Experience with Autodesk software including ACC, Civil 3D, and Revit is an asset.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
