**Job Description**
This posting is for an 8-month Student 2025 placement with a start date of May 2025 and an end date of December 2025. In order to be eligible for this position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end date of December 2025, or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e., graduating in August/December 2025), you require the work term as a mandatory component to graduate successfully.

**What is the opportunity?**
RBC is hiring for a Data Analyst (Co-op), CRM Data Enablement & Reporting role. You will report into the Senior Manager, CRM Data Enablement & Reporting and collaborate with channel partners and marketing leads across Personal Banking and Commercial Banking platforms to help drive business decisions by assisting in the development of self-serve reporting solutions.
**What will you do?**
- Develop CRM and campaign reports using Tableau and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python required for Canadian Banking and Insurance to meet business and financial imperatives.
- Participate in requirement and campaign design meetings to identify success criteria and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measurement.
- Work with CRM Data Enablement & Reporting team members on report automation and streamline existing reporting processes.
- Explore and integrate Google Analytics data via tools such as Starburst Trino to new and existing campaign dashboards to measure the effectiveness of RBC’s online and mobile channels.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure reporting is developed accurately and on time.
- Regular maintenance of web-based report repository to ensure report and dashboard links are updated and new contents are uploaded.
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have:**
- Working towards a degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science/Math/Statistics).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Google Data Studio.
- Technical knowledge of SQL, SAS, or Python (Enterprise Guide/SAS Studio/Jupyter Notebook).
- Strong business acumen and analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize strategy.
- Attention to detail, organization, ability to multi-task and time management is critical.
**Nice-to-have:**
- Relevant experience in marketing or financial reporting.
- Experience in the financial services industry with a broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing, and risk management.
