**Responsibilities:**
- Sell our vaccines and medicines to enable patients to do more, feel better, and live longer while achieving commercial objectives.
- Develop a business sales plan for individual customers and set short-term objectives to achieve long-term goals.
- Execute territory business plans to achieve or surpass sales objectives in the Vaccines Division.
- Integrate product knowledge into informative dialogues that provide customers with insightful perspectives.
- Understand GSK products, strategies, positioning, and those of key competitors.
- Negotiate contracts in some territories and maintain accountability for contractual objectives.
- Understand how diverse patients and health care professionals navigate the health care system and integrate these insights into customer dialogue.
- Build and maintain a network of health care professionals to grow sales.
- Allocate budget and resources effectively to create customer value.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse environment to develop effective relationships and generate new ideas.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel domestically as required for the position.
- Proficiency with computer technology, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- High sense of initiative and business owner mindset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers.
- Knowledge of scientific research studies and data analysis techniques.
- Proven negotiation skills and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to translate scientific information into meaningful insights.
- Residence in the Victoria, BC area is an advantage.
