**Position Description**
Join Canada's largest IT Company as a Test Coordinator. This hybrid role requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week, subject to change.
**Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Understand requirements from business and collaborate with the internal team to create the business requirements document.
- Create automation test cases for all test cases derived from models.
- Create OR names and XPath mapping.
- Develop use cases for each project as per client requests.
- Design flows for systems, processes, or areas required by project/business needs.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technology teams to ensure requirements are conveyed clearly for successful delivery.
- Experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Assist the testing team in ensuring requirements are accurately captured.
- Liaise with internal and external teams during the design, implementation, and integration of new technologies.
- Validate existing test cases and consolidate them from a QA perspective.
- Assist the project team in troubleshooting testing issues.
- Anticipate the impact of changes or projects across multiple systems.
- Raise defects/issues and follow up on resolution.
- Report on test progress.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure all product integration requirements are met.
**Required Qualifications:**
- 3-5 years of automation testing experience with Selenium in UI and API automation.
- Experience with Parasoft using SOATest for creating RESTful API tests.
- Good hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks.
- Ability to design and execute automation scripts using Selenium.
- Strong experience in JavaScript, databases, React, and REST services.
- Java knowledge from a QA perspective is essential.
- Exposure to test optimization techniques in automation to enhance test efficiency.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in the banking domain is a plus.
