**Position Summary**
Reporting to the Director of Credit, the Underwriter Associate will support the Broker underwriting team by managing a range of activities with autonomy and expertise. This role involves the processing and reviewing of documentation for mortgage applications, liaising with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Underwriters, Sales Agents, and Brokers to ensure timely collection of required documentation.
- Follow up on appraisals and ensure all documentation meets quality compliance standards.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- University Degree or Community College Diploma.
- 1-2 years of related experience in the financial services environment.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs quickly.
