Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDG) at Sheridan College in Oakville, ON, is a university-based community group for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with a passion for growing as developers are welcome to join. GDG on Campus offers a peer-to-peer learning environment where students can enhance their knowledge and create solutions for local businesses and communities.

**Role Description:**
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Vice President at GDG on Campus Sheridan College. This role is an unpaid volunteer position. The Vice President will be responsible for leading and coordinating campus-based community development activities, organizing events and workshops, fostering collaboration among student developers, and representing the group both on and off-campus. This role will require frequent travel to the Trafalgar Road Campus (Oakville, ON), as well as the ability to travel for some events at our Hazel McCallion Campus (Mississauga, ON) and infrequent travel to our Davis Campus (Brampton, ON) with flexibility for some remote work.

- Leadership and Team Management skills
- Event Planning and Coordination experience
- Strong Networking and Relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of Google developer technologies
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
- Project Management skills
- Experience in community engagement or student organizations is a plus
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, SDNE, ISE, ICT, or a related field
- Graduation Date must be a minimum of 6 months away
- Must be a currently registered student at Sheridan College
