**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a passionate Instructional Designer to join our volunteer team and help shape the future of our educational programs. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the framework and structure for our various learning initiatives, ensuring they deliver maximum impact for our marginalized youth participants.

**Qualifications**
- Background in instructional design, educational technology, or related field
- Experience in creating learning materials and curriculum frameworks
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and educational best practices
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proven ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging learning materials
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop comprehensive instructional frameworks that can be applied across different programs
- Create standardized templates for program documentation including syllabi, learning objectives, and participant expectations
- Transform instructor content into engaging learning materials, including workbooks and micro-learning modules
- Implement effective instructional design strategies for both virtual and in-person learning environments
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to optimize content delivery and learning outcomes
- Develop guidelines for integrating content into our Learning Management System
- Establish evaluation metrics to assess program effectiveness and participant engagement
- Create templates for collecting essential program information from instructors
